Waktu pengen beli laptop, sebelumnya aku mencari tahu dulu bedanya Netbook, Notebook dan Laptop. Maklumlah, meski lahir ditahun 90'an aku tetep aja Gaptek Gagap Tekhnologi, hhehe Laptop. Laptop adalah sebutan umum untuk Notebook dan Netbook. Jadi Laptop dapat diartikan sebagai netbook maupun notebook. Atau bisa juga dikatakan Laptop terdiri atas dua jenis yaitu Notebook dan Netbook. Asal katanya tetap sama yaitu merujuk pada komputer yang digunakan di pangkuan Perbedaan Notebook dan Netbook. Dari segi ukuran, Netbook biasanya memiliki ukuran yang lebih kecil daripada Notebook. Biasanya berukuran antara 7-12 inci. Nah, sedangkan Notebook sendiri ukurannya lebih besar, biasanya mulai dari 12 inci ke atas. Dari segi performa, Netbook biasanya didesain untuk melakukan kinerja ringan seperti mengolah data Word, spreadsheet Excel, slide Powerpoint, internetan, memainkan permainan ringan, dan sebagainya. Sedangkan Notebook, menawarkan performa yang lebih berat, misalnya kecepatan pengolahan data yang lebih cepat dan kemampuan multimedia yang handal. Dari segi harga, Harga Netbook biasanya relatif lebih murah, sekitar 2 jutaan. Sedang Notebook harganya paling tidak ada di kisaran 4 jutaan dengan spesifikasi diatas standar. dari segi penggunaan, Notebook lebih cocok digunakan oleh orang yang bekerja “maksimal”, misalnya untuk proses editing, atau desain kreatif lainnya. Sementara Netbook lebih cocok untuk pengguna yang kegiatannya lebih banyak mengolah data ringan sampai sedang, menjelajah internet, dan menonton video. Nah, awalnya yang aku tau. Kalau Laptop itu Ukurannya sekitar 14" juga ada DVD-Roomnya, kalau Notebook/netbook ukurannya 11,6"/10" dan gak ada DVD-Roomnya. Ternyata keduanya sama-sama laptop yah, hehe. Mau beli yang 14" rasanya kegedean yah kalau dibawa-bawa, kalau yang 10" takutnya kekecilan kasiankan mataku yang udah minus ini, jadi kuputuskan untuk membeli yang berukuran 11,6". Yah, pilihanku jatuh pada Acer Aspire One 722. Akhir bulan Juni aku pergi ke Jambu 2, setelah sebelumnya bertanya sana-sini toko mana yang terpercaya, hehe. Muter-muter aku cari toko itu, ternyata toko bernama DAS Comp itu ada di pojok dan ujuuuunng, pantess aja. Tapi memang keadaan tokonya rame banget. Kulihat harga yang ada di brosurnya laptop incaranku aku tawar dan dapat harga Sebelum deal, kutanyakan juga bisa urus garansi apa engga. Dan bilang bisa. Aku lega. Karna kata temenku aku harus pastika dulu toko itu bisa urus garansi apa engga. Sekalian juga kubeli modem, mouse dan cooling pad, sama flashdisk, semuanya pass pass banget 3,2 hhi. Akhirnya kumiliki juga laptop ini.. Mari kita lihat spesifikasinya lebih jauh.. Acer Aspire One 722. Layar 11,6”, prosesor baru, memori yang memadai, bobot ekstra ringan, dan daya tahan baterai baik adalah senjata utamanya. Mari kita tinjau lebih jauh, bagaimana kemampuan laptop mungil ini. Apa itu AMD C-50? Prosesor AMD yang digunakan pada Aspire One 722 adalah salah satu prosesor Fusion pertama dari AMD, C-50. Prosesor Fusion ini ada hasil penggabungan dari prosesor dan VGA. Ya, AMD C-50 adalah gabungan dari sebuah prosesor AMD dual-core dengan sebuah VGA AMD Radeon HD 6250. AMD menyebut hasil gabungan CPU dan VGA ini sebagai APU Accelerated Processor Unit. AMD C-50 adalah APU yang dirancang untuk netbook dan bahkan tablet. APU ini memiliki 2 core yang berkecepatan 1 GHz. Jangan salah sangka. Meski hanya 1 GHz, C-50 ini memiliki sistem kerja seperti prosesor modern. C-50 menggunakan metode eksekusi out-of-order, dimana perintah dapat dikerjakan berdasarkan prioritas dan urutan yang paling tepat untuk memastikan proses berjalan secepat mungkin. Aspire One 722 hadir dengan kemampuan multimedia yang mantap. Laptop ini dapat dengan mudah menjalankan video Full HD 1080p. Sisi VGA dari prosesor AMD C-50 yang digunakannya, adalah bagian yang mendukung kemampuan spesial Aspire One 722 ini. Acer Aspire One 722 ini dilengkapi dengan port HDMI, dan layarnya pun cukup lega yaitu 11,6”. Untuk ukuran layar yang nyaris mencapai 12”, resolusinya pun cukup tinggi, 1366×768 pixel.
